farewell to my faithful friend.
dogs are such amazing creatures. showing unconditional love and loyalty until the end. they quickly work their way into our hearts and remain there forever.
it was so hard to let you go today. i have peace knowing that you will no longer suffer. but, it doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye. i will miss you so much, my faithful friend.

I am so, so sorry. Your post with its obvious love for Farley made me cry and hug my little four-legged pal with her ever-whitening face a little closer.
Thank you so much. It's hard to see them aging and knowing that this day will eventually come. I was rather blindsided by it all, too, as Farley had gotten such a clean bill of health at his appointment only six months earlier.
I'm sure your four-legged pal is enjoying the extra hugs and kisses. :)
So sorry for your lose! My dakota is 10 and I see the grey on her grow everyday and I dread this day. She truly is my best friend.
Oh, so sad to hear about your dog :(
